GOOD MOVIES, GOOD FUN, FAMILY & FRIENDS + LOVE: To jump start the holiday season I've spent time helping my family put up a Christmas tree. I've had a slumber party and I was able to have some fun with family members I get the opportunity to see a few times a year. Over the weekend I went to the movies with my Dad and sisters to go see John Wick, which I felt was a good movie but didn't feel his reason for vengeance was justifiable; John Wick was playing at what use to be a dollar theater but is now up to $2.50. We had such a wonderful time and my Dad is one of the people in my life that filled my childhood with such wonderful memories.
WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ALL ABOUT: There is a lot of Gift giving going on during Christmas which is also, I feel, a gesture of love from many but I also don't forget what Christmas is all about. I am a believer in God and a believer in Jesus and although I know this Holiday set aside for the Birth of Christ or Jesus' Birthday may or may not be accurate I still feel it's a great opportunity, if you're a believer in Christ, to share His story around the table during the holidays. During my childhood my mom wasn't big on celebrating Christmas only because it just really wasn't her thing and she saw it more so as the reason many went out and got into even more debt but she never let myself, bother nor my cousins forget about Christ, even when we went to go celebrate with other family members and friends.

#1 "The Nativity Story"
Regardless of the organs of the Christmas holiday and whether or not it is the true birthday of Christ the Nativity story is a great way for those who believe in Christ Jesus to share the story of his birth, especially with the children.
