Yes the title of this article is correct! In the new direction of Revenge as of Season 4 Episode 13 "Abduction" Margaux LeMarchal is raising war on Amanda Clarke aka alias Emily Throne. Margaux is still fuming over the death of Daniel. Daniel died saving Emily from Kate a corrupt FBI Agent and the daughter of Malcom Black. Malcom Black was coming after David trying to settle old, bad, twisted debt. David has claimed that Malcom Black made him do some terrible things after he saved him from what was supposed to be a staged death in prison by Conrad. Supposedly, Victory finally broke down and told Margaux the truth about Daniels death. This is after Amanda, David and Jack fabricated a story about what really happened at Amanda's home the night Daniel was killed.
THE FABRICATED STORY: Amanda told police that Daniel had come into her home to harm her. He was very angry about the things she'd done to him in their past and had not let it go. Amanda's story was that she had to kill Daniel in self-defense.
THE TRUTH: Daniel heard loud noises as he was on the beach. This noise was coming from the home of Amanda as she was fighting with corrupt FBI Agent, Kate. Daniel went running up to Amanda's home and as he entered he saw Emily laying in the floor of her foyer. Daniel ran to Amanda's aid and as he did Kate- after getting herself together from the tussle with Amanda-pick up her gun and in an attempt to shoot Amanda, Daniel shielded Amanda and took the bullets instead.
MARGAUX VENGEANCE: Margaux was made to believe the same fabricated story as everyone else but didn't believe it since she was the last person to actually speak to Daniel. In her last conversation with Daniel she asked him to come home so that they could be a family. Margaux had just revealed to Daniel just hours prior to his death that she was pregnant. Margaux had been upset with Daniel after finding out he slept with Louis. Margaux felt she couldn't trust Daniel but after considering the improvements he'd been working hard to make she was willing to give him another chance.
OH VICTORIA: Victoria after seeing how the stress of the issue with Daniel was affecting Margaux and her pregnancy, while Margaux was in the hospital from a breakdown, Victoria supposedly told her the truth. Of course we can't expect the real truth to come out of the mouth of Victoria Grayson. As of Episode 13 "Abduction" it appears that Victoria only gave Margaux the side of the story that excludes Victoria herself from any wrong doing. Even after Margaux found out Amanda had nothing to do with the death of Daniel in the sense of her killing him, Margaux still will not let it go and now she believes Amanda had something to do with her father's death also and of course Victoria didn't reveal to her that Conrad actually killed her father.
WHAT NOW: Victoria seems to be tired and ready to give up the life of Revenge. She stated in "Abduction" that she was ready to move on and she acknowledged that David and Amanda deserved a life together. Later on as the show drew to a close we see Margaux speaking with Victoria about her plans for Amanda. Her plans are to find evidence against the things she has been doing. Once she has the evidence that she needs she plans to send Amanda to jail for a very long time. Victoria warned Margaux that revenge was a very dangerous game but Margaux is determined-but to what end? I hope that Margaux doesn't succeed in her plans for Amanda and that she comes to her senses before taking things too far! After all Amanda has been through Margaux can't be the end of her! -Monica/TVandPopcorn
Happy New Year TV and Popcorn fans, followers and readers!
Tonight I watched the UFC182 fight event. This is one fight that has been well advertised and pumped up-UFC Light Heavy Weight Champion JON JONES vs. DANIEL CORMIER! This was said to be one of the biggest fights of the year especially because these two champions, in their own right, don't like each other at all. Daniel Cormier has said in several interviews that Jon Jones is prideful and that the people deserve a new champion.
After tonight Jon Jones has defended his title eight times. Jones came out tonight to "It's Getting Hot in Here" by Nelly and also a mix of other songs including "The Champ Is Here" by Jay Z. Something came across as odd about Jones tonight but maybe we can chalk it up to him just automatically assuming he was going to win. Round one between Jones and Cormier seemed to start off slow, surprisingly. To me Cormier seemed to be ready but already exhausted and rightfully so; the hype of this event I'm sure weighed down on both fighters. As the rounds continue, both fighters eventually going all five rounds with no knock out, Jones and Cormier both got each other down to the floor a few times with the intent to achieve TAKE DOWN.
MY OPINION: I was really disappointed in this fight. I felt that it was too much holding, especially on Jones' part. I was rooting for Cormier for the win but regardless I'm willing to give props where props are due. I felt this fight was boring and underwhelming. My initial reaction was that neither fighter should be happy with their performance. I do understand that Cormier had to defend himself with all the holds with Jones trying to get him on the TAKE DOWN/SUBMISSION earlier on in the first three rounds. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fighter and have no idea the discipline and level of energy it takes to fight on any level but I can only image so there is no disrespect towards either fighter but I watched the preliminary fights and I felt many of those fights where better. Several preliminary fights were intense and a lot of the guys had more to prove especially among the fighters competing in UFC for the first time. To me I felt like Jones didn't go out with the heart to give his all but with the strategy to gain points and drain the clock with holding. For the most part I was disappointed.
POST PRESS CONFERENCE: Jones took the win with the score 49 to Cormier's 46. Cormier took the high ground and admitted his loss. He also stated that he didn't know how to judge a fight after being asked if he felt the points should have been closer. Cormier admitted that some rounds for him were strong but there were others that he didn't win over Jones. -Monica/TVandPopcorn
